They are super cheap...$5+ for 100 and we re-sell them for 25 cents.
Do the math...we sell about 700 each week.
Ice Pop sales benefit the 5th Grade Safety Patrol Trip to Washington DC.
Since I have a 5th Grader going on the trip, I take my turn selling.
The Ice Pops are sold during lunch in the cafeteria.
I enjoy this day, probably because it is only occasionally.
Anyhow, my point is this: Every time I work in the Cafeteria, I laugh. The children are so funny, without trying to be. I enjoy being around them-I feel like they are all my little friends (because they are).
Today, a 2nd Grade girl said to me, "You are soooooo lucky!"
I asked why and she said, "Because you get to eat as many Ice Pops as you want every day!"
I guess my life looks pretty good to a 2nd Grader.
And she is right...I am sooooo lucky. I love my life!
(Just wouldn't choose to eat as many Ice Pops as I want every day!)
Happy Friday Everyone!
