This is the time of year when total strangers knock on my door and ask...
WHERE did you get those eggs?
I've met some very nice people just because of these yard eggs!
As you can see... in South Florida, we did NOT get the crazy rain and storms that the rest of the Sunshine State received this past week. We certainly NEED the rain that comes with the crazy storms.
So I know you are wondering...WHERE did I get these eggs?
Well...Not all in one place at one time...
This egg collection started about 15 years ago when I lived in a cul-de-sac (Orchid Court)
One of my neighbors had a few of these in her yard and I decided I wanted a few also.
Then another neighbor did the same and another...soon Orchid Court looked like an Easter Parade waiting to happen. And, in a way, it was. We hosted an neighborhood Easter Egg Hunt every year until we all moved away. The large eggs created such a festive atmosphere for this event.
Every year, I added 2 or 3 more eggs until my collection is up to about 20 large yard Easter Eggs.
I know what you really want to know is WHERE to get them...
WMT
Dollar Tree
Michaels
Every year it is hit and miss where I see them and when they are available, they sell out quickly. If you are hunting for these large Easter Eggs, don't wait until Easter.
