Our Elementary School Production of
Peter Pan
Megan was Peter Pan's Shadow
Here she is before the production started.
I purchased the black ski/snowboard mask in Utah a few weeks ago.
(For some reason, I could not find one in Florida...mmm)
In the scene below, Wendy dragged Peter's Shadow in to the nursery.
Many times in the last few months, I would ask Megan how play practice went, now I understand why she told me that she spent most of the time lying on the floor covered by a blanket...
This was the PERFECT role for her. Lots of action without a speaking part.
And the amazing cast takes a bow.
This was quite an undertaking for an Elementary School.
They did an incredible job.
I am certain this was the beginning of a tradition for our school and it's newly formed Drama Club.
Remember the "Walk For Sound" Walk-A-Thon we hosted in March?
The new Sound System was installed and ready for this show!
Hooray!
Grandpa David, Grandma Hogie, and Grandpa Hogie were seated on the front row for the entire performance. They had the best seats in the house and I PROMISE...I did not choose them.
We showed up and there was a sign on each chair that said,
"Reserved for the family of Megan Hostetler"
I gave my camera to my dad and he got some of the best pictures of the night.
I am so happy they were able to attend this exciting night for Megan.
Peter, Wendy, and Peter's Shadow, aka Megan after a job well done!
Mom, Megan, and Dad
We are so proud of Megan!
This has been one Megan's best school years ever.
Megan is confident and strong as she leaves Elementary School and prepares for Middle School.
