Better Than Snow and Ice

This alert came to my phone early this morning...like super early... shortly after midnight.

It was a loud, windy night that left many without electricity this morning and others with damage to their homes and yards. We have a lot of branches and debris to pick up in our yard.  All of the chairs outside around our fire pit were blown into one big pile and 2 of the Adirondack chairs are broken.
The gorgeous poinsettias that have been on my front porch and back patio took a beating for the first time since Thanksgiving. Time to get them planted in the ground.

I still prefer these types of storms over snow and ice.
