Grilled Asparagus Rafts

Compliments of chef extraordinaire,, John Klemas.
John is the friend you invite over for dinner and everything he offers to cook or bring is over the top, out of this world deelish..... This recipe for Grilled Asparagus is no exception.

Recipe:
1 lb Thick stalk Asparagus
1Tbs. Soy Sauce
1 tsp. Sesame Oil
1 Clove Garlic, minced
2 tsp. Toasted Sesame Seeds
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
Dash of Salt
Marinate Asparagus for 30-60 minutes, then place on skewers in raft fashion (see photo). Place on grill and cook until crisp tender (about 3 minutes per side)
Dont want to use the grill??? I loved this so much, I could not wait to get the grill going, I just cooked the Asparagus in a pan over med-high heat. Saute' until crisp/tender!
This is my new favorite way to eat Asparagus- a vegetable most people either like or hate and not much fence sitting on taste for this vegetable.
