My Twentieth Birthday was also my Wedding Day. Ron jokingly says he had to wait until that day to marry me so I would no longer be a teenager. This was the beginning of many, many happy times yet to come.
We were married in the Salt Lake City LDS Temple. The Day after our wedding, we packed up our belongings, loaded our Chevy Van, Hooked up our Honda Accord for towing, and headed to Florida, via New Jersey, where my parents were living at the time. While in New Jersey, my parents hosted an Open House for us. We then headed to Florida where Ron's mom held an Open House for us. Ron began teaching Science at Boca Raton High School and I worked at the West Palm Beach JCPenney Store having transfered from the Salt Lake JCPenney Store.
A Garden Reception was held at the Lion House in Down Town Salt Lake City that evening. I am not sure if we had a rain plan, thank goodness the weather was beautiful.

My little sister, Jenni, was 9 years old the day of my wedding. It was always so hard to leave home and not see her often as she grew up.
Ron joined my family and has probably wondered many times what he actually got in to with us. He is the most incredible person on this planet. I love him dearly.

Today, as we celebrate 27 years of marriage, I express my deepest love and admiration for my husband, Ron. To quote Gladys Knight.... "He is the best thing that has ever happened to me." These have been the best years of my life and I know the best is still yet to come!
I love you, Ron!!!!!
