Rosh Hashanah Day Off From School....
Somewhere, someplace, the leaves are turning beautiful colors and the air is getting cool and crisp while we are still enjoying beautiful beach days.
For those who say I do not post enough photos of myself... this should fill the quota for a long stretch. The fact that I am in a bathing suit (you were warned....don't get grossed out) should count for at least double photos of myself.
Katherine, Me, and Megan with The Dubois Lagoon in the background. We had my favorite Publix Subs for lunch. Let me say...Publix has the best Sub Sandwiches in the area...right there with Jersey Mikes (My favorite at both places is an Italian Sub). I cannot even stand to walk in Subway...there is an odd smell that does not set well with me.
When I am on the other side of the camera.... I never know what will pop up when I review my photos.... This is certainly the moment I was deeply pondering a portion of my book.
Once I knew they had the camera on me, I had to smile and say CHEESE! This day made it possible for me to be more than half way through New Moon.

I love this place. I am not sure if it is due to the 25 years of wonderful memories here or the anticipation of future enjoyment. It is truly paradise found on a gorgeous September afternoon.

I'll never forget a very pregnant Mindi "borrowing" Austin's scuba mask to see the water and sand around her toes. When Mindi saw a GIANT crab grabbing at her pretty pink toe nails, she let loose with a GIANT scream. I was amazed at how she could swim (with Kennedy in-vitro) in water only 2 feet deep without touching the bottom of the lagoon.
Your lagoon became our "favorite place" and we do miss it.
You florida girls sure have a cute collection of suits!
