It Takes A Village To Raise A Child....
My Village Is Amazing...
As a mother, the support of friends and family has been crucial at every turn. I will say this forever, the Lord placed incredible people in my path. Knowing my needs, he gave me friends who love and support me in everything, and I do mean everything I do or attempt. None of my friends are in my village by accident.
At Megan's Baptism two weeks ago, I had the opportunity to be one of the speakers. (5 Children's Baptisms and I have never participated on the program, which was fine with me) I looked at the full chapel and was so grateful for my life, for my children, for my family, and for those who are part of my life.
One of the driving forces of my life is loving and serving people, my heart's desire is to be the support to others that I have in my own life.
I did not have my camera clicking at every turn to capture the many many guests who joined us at the Baptism. Here are the only photos I took of some of the dearest friends I will ever know.

In the bottom picture, who is the old fat guy with the multi-color tie?
I believe we are part of the village even if we don't acknowledge it. Isn't it wonderful that we are blessed to have friends and loved one's in our villages? Those incredible people who we would have hand picked if given the choice.
I think the guy in the multi-color tie belongs to the sweetheart next to him!!
