Our First (and only) Orange

December in Florida means..... Citrus Time!

This Orange Tree was a gift last Christmas. How exciting to actually have fruit one year later...I am excited, even though it was only ONE orange! It won't be hard to double our crop next year.

It must be time to move.... That is our family joke. Every time we get our citrus trees mature enough to bear fruit, we move. Hopefully, we will be around for a bumper crop next year!
Megan and Katherine were so excited when it came time to actually harvest the orange!
They have watched this orange from it's first blossom, to a small green bud, to a large juicy orange ready to eat!
