Presidential Campaign Close To Home

Presidential Campaign
Did you watch the Republican Presidential Debate last night????
It was hosted here in Palm Beach County at Florida Atlantic University.
Excitement is in the air here !
I loved the debate and the civility of each of the candidates toward each other. They behaved like gentlemen which is a breath of fresh air after watching bickering and fighting amongst candidates in other debates.
This post needs to be longer, so much longer, there is so much I want and need to share, however, time will not allow it today. Next week, watch for a detailed post regarding The Debate, The Florida Primary Race. and The Presidential Race.
I will say this..... I am sure I am voting for Mitt Romney for all the right reasons.
This past year has been agonizing for me as I have followed every candidate (on both sides) and studied issues more closely than ever. I did not for one minute want to vote for Mitt for the reason that we are both Mormons and that I have known his family for years. I can say that on every issue, I know Mitt Romney can lead America in a positive direction. When I was interviewed by the Palm Beach Post and landed on the front page of the Sunday paper, I told them, that I would vote according to issues ,qualifications, etc. above religion. I can honestly say that is what I am doing.
Take the test at the end of this post....
Yesterday, we attended a Pre-Debate lunch at the Campaign Headquarters in West Palm Beach. This is Katherine with Tag Romney shortly after he arrived via the "Mittmobile" What a down to earth family. Mitt, his wife, Ann, and their children are so genuine and approachable. I wish every one could see them up close and see how genuine they are. Mitt is brilliant and can make positive changes for The Economy, The War, Health Care, Illegal immigration, Foreign Policy, Israel, Taxes, and many other areas.
On a side note, Katherine was on the local news last night and will be in a clip on the NBC Nightly News tonight. The clip is broadcast from Romney Florida Campaign Headquarters. I have my DVR set.
This weekend, I have volunteered to house 10 students from Southern Virginia University while they are here working on the campaign before Tuesday's Primary Election.
I went to The Romney Headquarters the other night and was over the top impressed when I met all of his staff members (the true movers and shakers of his campaign) Incredible people, down to earth, knowledgeable, and very seasoned. An incredible mix.
Whatever your Political leanings are, take the opportunity to be involved and watch the Campaign and Election Processes up close. What a great country we live in to have the opportunity to elect our leaders.
Stay tuned for so much more.
Have you taken this test?
There are a few other issues that should be included, but this is interesting.

We are pro Mitt all the way. I wish people could see how close the Romney family is and how much the 5 boys love and support their parents. Besides Mitt being all that we need in a President how about having the perfect First Family!!

Ron Paul comes up high on my list and by those questions you would think the man is sane, but his constantly harping that we have left the "gold standard" and that is the main cause of all trouble. He's is clearly off his rocker so no I won't be voting for him. I wish I really liked anyone, but I just don't like anyones ideas on the 4-5 issues that are really close to my heart. I like Guiliani quite a bit, but his family values are not good. And frankly, if a man's wife can't trust him then.. I don't think he's electable. The religious right won't vote for Guilliani. I think Mitt's immigration policy would devastate our economy out west and separate families. I hope he's not really serious, but he's sounds like he is. I'm leaning toward McCain, but I don't love him either. There have been several times that he has publicly disagreed with President Bush in the press and I haven't felt that was helpful. Although I did agree with him and not the president on the torture issue.
