Salsa Dance Instruction Night Topped Off With Salsa Snacks!
43 of the most amazing teens spent the evening learning to Salsa Dance from Miguel and Liz G., an incredible dance team.

This is me with the Beehive Class President, Gigi. Her parents were the dance instructors this evening. Our Beehive Class sponsored this Youth Activity. What a way to start the year, girls!
As a follow up to this event, we are hosting a Youth Dance close to Valentines Day.
These kids will be ripping up the dance floor that night after such incredible instruction tonight. It was amazing to see how much they learned in one night.
Liz and Miguel start the night off with a demonstration. What a team. We are so fortunate to benefit from their expertise! Thank You!!!!!! Thank You!!!

Every one of the youth in my ward are incredible. They carry such a great spirit with them and are strong in their resolve to live Christ-like lives. It is a pleasure to work around them.!

Wow, either I'm getting old, or they lowered the age to attend youth activities. There are few kids in the pictures that I still picture as 5 or 6 years old!
Fun, I heard about this last night- wasn't Luke there? I didn't see a single photo with him in it (even in the background). Then again, he has grown so much since we last saw him that we probably wouldn't recognize him! Oh, and I completely agree with Curt/Carmen, but after working with the youth in many wards, I've realized that I'm just getting old! :)
That dance was the best yet! I can't wait till the valentine's day dance! I felt so glad that 41 people actually showed up! Plus, everyone had a blast! Luke and I kept cracking up every time we messed up. Thanks for all that were brave enough to dance!!:)

Yeah I am old and have been gone too long. I didn't recognize a single person there, except Shauna. Oh to be a youth again, you couldn't pay me to go back to that stage in life. Now college is a different story:). You have always been an awesome YW's leader Shauna!
Now that sounds like a fun activity. Shauna, you are looking fabulous!
