Primary Girls Activity Day

Activity Day...Activity Night...Achievement Day... Achievement Night.... I never remember the correct name...therefore, it is known as A-DAY at our house...even though it is held at NIGHT!

Last night was

Faith In God Recognition Night. A few months ago, the awesome leaders made and presented one of these Faith In God Canvas bags (below) to each girl. Each box contains one of the areas of focus and each jewel represents one of the goals accomplished in that area.

These bags are perfect for carrying their Scriptures, Faith In God Book, and Activity Day Notebook.

Last night, each girl was presented with a small treasure box containing the jewels she has earned. At the end of the program, they got to attach them to their Faith In God Bag in the corresponding box.

Here are the girls with their Treasure Boxes full of jewels. The presentation was perfect as no one knew exactly how many jewels each girl earned, thus eliminating competition, yet recognizing the efforts and progress of each girl.

Each girl also made a display about herself with items, posters, words, etc. It is fun to see what each girl is involved in.

Katherine was excited to see the Castle Cake that was part of the refreshments.

And one of our fearless leaders.....Patty.... soon you will not recognize her...she is truly melting every time I see her. Note the "Newlywed Glow" she carries!.
