Cinnamon Roll Icing Perfection
This is my "Post Father's Day" recipe.
Several years ago,
I started a tradition at Church for Fathers Day. The last 15
minutes of meetings, the Men and Young Men are dismissed
from class to go enjoy a feast of Homemade Cinnamon Rolls
and Milk.. There are a few
guidelines...the rolls must be homemade and there must be
a huge amount! Plenty for second and third helpings.
I highly recommend this tradition. It is highly anticipated,
totally enjoyed, and still going strong!
Below is an icing recipe from my mom...you must try it!
My mom makes THE BEST Cinnamon Rolls, hands down. As if she could not improve her specialty..she did. She has perfected the icing. Oh my....try this!!!!
Cinnamon Roll Icing
4 oz. Cream Cheese, Softened
4 Tbsp Butter (1/4 Cup)
1 lb (1Box) Powdered Sugar
1 tsp Vanilla Extract
1 tsp Almond Extract
1/8-1/4 Cup Water (depending on consistency)
This icing makes any Cinnamon Roll Recipe even better!!!!
There you are...another paper off my desk with posting this.
Curt got married Mothers Day Weekend, Jeffrey got married Fathers Day weekend (last week-which is why this is a Post-Father's Day recipe) With our track record...Andrew will get married Christmas Eve.

Yum! I will have to try that! Rusty got married last year on Mothers Day Weekend...
What a great tradition! They did nothing for the Dad's in our ward this past Sunday. And, the sacrament meeting talks were on avoiding porn. Rude! They should have had Father's Day talks and treats. I was bugged.
Hey!
What about the cinnamon roll recipe?!?
