Paint Preview

New House Paint Colors!!!!
Hooray!!!! Just sneak preview and I can already say...
I love the new colors. This was totally worth the wait!
The entire exterior is getting a face lift.... even the roof! Our
roof tiles always look dirty even when they are clean...
until today.....
Old original on the left and new roof color on the right!!!
In another view, note that Andrew's car received utmost TLC
from the painters. The "Beige Bullet" is wrapped in plastic.
Andrew is in Atlanta this week...what a week for him to be
gone, I could use him to help me HABLA CON some of the
painters. (How is that for Spanglish?)
On the left... the old faded creamy peach color. On the left the
new Dijon Mustard color. The new paint looks amazing next to
the new roof paint color. The trim will be an off white and the front
door will be black. I am digging this at every splash of the paint.
Here is the large view of the old color on the left and the new
color on the right. Note the new roof paint color above. There is
some over-spray until the trim is painted.
The painters have been here all week prepping and cleaning.
Cleaning the roof was almost a full 2 days process. They have worked
so hard. It makes me feel guilty when I am inside in the air conditioning.
It also keeps me making sure I am awake early in the morning and FULLY
DRESSED at ALL TIMES! No explanation needed!

I came home from the beach today and felt like the furniture/decorating commercials where the woman is lounging out by the pool when her husband comes home and asks what she did today. She answers...."The Living Room" I played at the beach today while someone worked hard at "The Outside Painting"

We're painting our house as well. Estimates were near $4,000 for someone else to do it, so we decided to save some cash and do it ourselves. My house has all wooden siding and hasn't been painting in at least 30 years so this was/is not an easy task. We're almost done and it looks fantastic, and we've also saved about $3,000!
