Thoughts For NieNie

The Blogging Community Is Amazing
This is where my mind, thoughts, and prayers have been all week.
On a fellow blogger Stephanie Nielson in Mesa, AZ, known as
Nie Nie at her delightful blog, NieNiedialogues.
I was originally introduced to Stephanie and her sister,
Google Reader continually refers me to these two amazing
sisters and their blogs. Each time I peruse their blogs, I am
greeted with a breath of fresh air.
Thier homes, their perspectives, their families, their lives..
just delightful all the way around.
In a nutshell, Stephanie, her husband Christian, and Christian's
flight instructor were in a plane crash last weekend. The flight
instructor did not make it..... Stephanie and Christian are in
critical condition being treated for burns. Months and months of
recovery and surgeries are ahead for them.
They have 4 young children and an amazing support system
in their families.
Stephanie's sisters in Utah have the children and are
doing an amazing job all the way around
Stephanie is the same age as my son, Curt. Wow...more
perspective.
So much has been put in perspective for me this week as I
contemplate the challenges faced by this family. The storms
here are just nothing compared to this. I have thought about
how life changes in one moment and how would I want
to leave my home, my children, my family when a tragedy
strikes. Just so much to think about.
So much.....
Visit CJane often to see how you can help and for
regular updates.
The Blogging Community truly is amazing...a positive force to
reckon with. One Blog Post at a time, we can pull together
support for the Nielson Family.
Have you read NieNieDialogues or CJane?
You are in for a treat when you visit.
Even at such a serious time of tragedy for their family,
you will be lifted just by their perspectives.
Designmom is hosting an auction on Thursday
to help raise funds for medical expenses.
Visit her for auction details.
Perhaps, in your corner of the world, you will decide how you can help.
The one thing I know, for certain, that we can all do...
PRAY for them, ALL of them, the children, the caretakers, Stephanie,
Christian, the Doctors, Nurses, etc. PRAY
I know Prayer works!

The blogging communtiy truly is small. I had just heard of their story and looked at their blog from one of my friend's blog the other day. I'm glad that they have such a great family and friends and so much support. That is what you need the most in times like these. I'll add them to my prayers because I know we can all use it and appreciate it from others in our biggest times of need.
