Has This Ever Happened To You?
You are excited to wear that newly purchased article of clothing! Even more exciting, it was exactly what you were looking for. Best of all, it was ON SALE for a ridiculous amount (after all THIS is the THE time of year for BARGAINS at retail stores!)
You hurriedly dress for your day and put on that new purchase....only to find the SECURITY TAG still in place. Grrrrr!
It is too early to run by the mall and ask to have it removed and you know, for certain, that the INK will quite possibly take over your life if you try to remove the tag yourself, if not it will surely ruin the new item, which is not replaceable...remember..it was ON SALE at a ridiculous price...so it was THE LAST and ONLY ONE available.
You change your outfit and go with plan B while wondering....WHY DID THE ALARM NOT GO OFF WHEN I LEFT THE STORE?
AND....
I HOPE I CAN FIND MY RECEIPT TO PROVE I PURCHASED THIS ITEM when I return to the store for the Tag Removal.
This has happened to me on numerous occasions and the alarms NEVER go off when I leave the stores. Generally, I hover over my purchases and check for the removal of Security Tags. This one just slipped by me...and the clerk.
At some point today, I will be stopping by the mall for the removal of the Security Tag....not something I actually have time for, but it is a MUST DO on my TO DO list.

PS-This is seriously a Bargain Hunters dream time of year to shop. Right before all the retail stores end their fiscal years and prepare for inventory. It is always a great time to shop...this year is even better with the slump in sales at Christmas time. The Clearance items are not even picked over. Happy Shopping!
