To My Dear Stake President (Church Leader),
In the next few days, you may receive a phone call regarding a
minor fender bender (that did not bend or dent any fenders, thankfully).
After all....I told the person I bumped into that it was YOUR fault.
There I was, waiting in the Elementary School Afternoon Pick-Up Line...
using my time wisely.... just being obedient to your challenge to complete
The Book of Mormon by Easter...just completely absorbed in reading about
Ammon and Lamoni when...
BUMP...I made a slight connection with the car bumper in front of me.
Oh no, NOT in the school pick up line...Pleeeeease Dont let there be any damage.
We both got out, surveyed the bumpers, determined there was no damage,
said some nice words, smiled, and got back in our cars to wait for the line to move.
Whewwww.
So there I was, enjoying every word I was reading when I jolted the car in front of me. Life is ALWAYS an adventure for me..even when performing routine tasks.
The reality is, I did not blame you for the fender bender. There is no one to blame, except for ME...the one who did not put the car in PARK while I was reading and waiting in line. (I repent)
The only thing I can blame you for is giving me a challenge that is changing my life and my heart EVERYDAY. For that...I THANK YOU...everyday!
