Good, Better, and Best

The Choices We Make...
Are generally not between Good and Bad. Those are easy. They are the "black and white" choices, the "turn left or turn right" obvious decisions.
The most difficult decisions come when all the choices are seemingly "good".
At our Stake Conference this past weekend, this message by Elder Dallin H Oaks kept going through my mind.
I decided that even more than Good, Better, and Best, as Elder Oaks presented, I have to choose between GOOD and NOT GOOD for me or my family. Something that may be ideal for one person may be a poor choice for me. No two people are the same (thankfully).
Ultimately, the choices I make affect me, my husband, children, and those around me. When I keep the perspective of Good and NOT Good for me, I am more likely to achieve balance and clarity in my actions, thoughts, and focus. It is a process, yet I get better and better at it as I reap the rewards of choosing the correct "GOOD".
Do you find yourself choosing between Good and Good often?
How do your choices help you achieve balance?

Huge problem making those choices. "Do I vacuum the house or go help someone with __________?" I've finally decided to ask myself "Is this putting your family first?" Because I get carried away helping others and hurting us! Thank you for reminding me!!! :)
