As my parents arrived at Church today, they were greeted by Katherine and Megan in the foyer. The surprise...this was in Orlando at their Chapel. The girls and I drove up the Turnpike this morning and made it to Church in time to attend meetings with my parents....this was a surprise for my dad. Thanks mom for helping me make this happen.
One detail I forgot to cover with my mom....I am wearing my turquoise sweater...the one just like yours. Oh well, I don't mind one bit. Now that the girls have graduated from the "Matchy Matchy" season...look who IS "Matchy Matchy"
After Church meetings, we enjoyed Dinner, Naps, and a lively game of Phase 10 (is there any other type of Phase 10 game with our crew?) We remembered to bring our Phase 10 Family Score Book. (Yes, we are serious. we keep a log of all scores and games played for posterity) Click on that link for details.
During our game, family members kept calling to wish dad a Happy Father's Day...we had to keep passing the phone around to each other, lest we be interrupted. Sorry to those of you who thought we were not attentive when you called (we weren't, but we still love you!).
While we were playing...Ron and Andrew arrived in Salt Lake Valley after a 4 day Road Trip. The Green Machine has been named "The Green Bean".
Do you have a favorite family game?
Do you have a Family Score Book?
Do you love surprising people?
Can you believe my girls are out of the Matchy Matchy season?

LOVE surprising people...especially since its really hard for me to be surprised. My sister and I are certainly out of the matchy-matchy season. However, when we worked together we would show up half the time in the same color, sometimes same shirt. It was once said that we share a brain! :)
I finally made our family blog private and I couldn't find an email for you. If you'd still like an invite email me.
