This afternoon in between
St Louis and Kansas City,
Andrew sent the following
message to me via Text Message:
"People in Missouri drive so slow...
never would have guessed that
YOU lived here, mom."
Point well taken, son, from your mother who has reached the maximum number of times she can attend TRAFFIC SCHOOL in the state of Florida.
Missouri is where I learned to drive and got my first Driver's License.
Maybe that slow start is why I drive like I am making up for lost time....? OK...I know there is NO excuse.
I do KNOW FOR CERTAIN that when I was a beginning driver in Missouri all those years ago, I DID NOT TEXT MESSAGE WHILE DRIVING. Promise. The reality of cell phones was not even on my radar at that time.
Thanks for the message, Andrew, hope it was not sent while YOU were driving on I-70 from St Louis to Kansas City. Enjoy the game tonight in my favorite Major League Stadium.

hey that's where i learned to drive and got my license too! but alas i did get one speeding ticket there. but not as many as i've had here!!!! i think they just overlook it more there? and i can see the town where i lived on your map. that NEVER happens! good old cape girardeau! too funny!
