What Is Playing On Your ipod?

While I was on the Elliptical Machine tonight, a young man came up to me and asked what was playing on my ipod. (Why does EVERYONE talk to me EVERYWHERE I go?-not complaining, just wondering)
At that very moment, one of my favorite "Get Up And GO" tunes was blasting.
I took off one of my earphones and held it up to his ear.
Do you know who this is?
No...
Have you ever heard this song?
I think so...
It is "Don't Stop Me Now" by Queen.
Oh, Queen, are they from the 70's?
Yes, and the 80's, as in "We Will We Will Rock You"
He then explains that he is looking for music that his MOTHER will like....He is surprising her with an itouch and wants to load music on it for her (just like my awesome son did for me when I got my ipod nano for Christmas!)
I guess I am flattered to be the Mom Voice at the gym...Or should I be concerned that I looked like the oldest chicky in the area? Oh well, don't answer that...
This got me thinking...what other "Get Up And Go" Songs do I have on my ipod? At just a very quick thought...here are just a very few songs that seem to help me get my tempo up when I want to break a sweat.
These come to mind out of the 500+ "favorites"! (Ecclectic, I know.....If you see the entire list, you may wonder about me....it is all over the genre spectrum.)
Mr Blue Sky by ELO
Gel by Collective Soul
I'm Feeling You by Michelle Branch and Santana
Waterloo by ABBA
Holiday by Greenday
I Saw The Light by Todd Rundgren
Ants Go Marching by Dave Matthews Band
Walking On Sunshine by Katrina and The Waves
My Wish by Rascall Flatts
Sooooo What "Get Up And Go" Songs do you enjoy?
What's playing on YOUR ipod, mp3, etc?
Do you like to exercise with earphones on?
Do you listen to music, books, podcasts, etc.?

For exercising my favorite song is Eminem Lose Yourself. Don't knock it till you try it, lol. It is very motivating.

I forgot to mention, make sure you don't have an explicit version.

I haven't been very good lately (on the treadmill), but when I am, the songs with a good beat that I like are... (don't laugh, some are definite oldies but goodies):
Pocketful of Sunshine (if you're not tired of hearing it) by Natasha Bedingfield, Girls just wanna have fun by Cyndi Lauper, Bad Girls by Donna Summer, Ob-la-di Ob-la-da by the Beatles, Never Let You Go by Third Eye Blind, Boogie Oogie Oogie by ? (Donna Summer I think)?
