Boo Hoo Breakfast

Most were "Woo Hoo'ing" over "Boo-Hoo'ing"
"It seems like yesterday that I was the new Kindergarten mom with two little ones in a stroller, fighting tears on the first day of school"...that is part of what I told the new Kindergarten Parents at our annual "Boo Hoo" Breakfast last week.
Then.....when I shared the following, I suddenly felt like the old woman in a shoe.... I could even see some people doing the math as to how old I or my children must be. (I made it easy for them and just told them the ages of my children-they can guess at my age)
I have sent:
  • 5 Children to Kindergarten
  • 4 to Middle School
  • 3 to High School
  • 3 to College
  • 3 away for 2 year Missionary Service
  • 2 Down the aisle to be married

Then I shared This family tradition

In addition to The Kissing Hand story, I gave them an overview of the school, etcRather than stand up and talk talk talk, I made up a trivia game about the school It got everyone interacting and was, hopefully fun.As prizes, I gave out the decorations on the tables-Pencils and Crayons ties in Red and White Bows.

On the School Trivia:
Who can help me learn how to use the copier?
What is the dress code?
How much is lunch?
What are the names of the Fine Arts Teachers?
What and When are Spirit Days?
You get the idea....
Does your School have a Boo Hoo Breakfast?
If so, what do they do?
