This is so typical of me, forgetting to express the "meat" of the matter...
In spite of an incredibly Loooong Week, the Lord has been with me. I have been sustained and boosted up, JUST LIKE HE PROMISED HE WOULD DO. Imagine that!
My biggest fear of accepting the PTA President Position came knocking at the onset of school. A huge controversy over Curriculum that has parents vocal, divided, and not as informed with concrete facts as they think. When I did this 15 years ago, I spent so much time on "political" issues, that I did not feel I was spending enough time directly affecting the children in my school and in my family.
This week, I have prayed mightily and when I needed them most, words and thoughts came to me that I did not know were part of me. It just could not have happened if I was standing alone.
The Lord ALWAYS Keeps His Promisies...
Prayers Are Answered...
