Right In My "Backyard"

Yet, it took Twenty Nine Years to actually visit and enjoy the amazing city of St Augustine, FL. (About 4 hours straight up the East Coast)

This is where Ron and I spent our Anniversary Weekend!
If you love history, charming old buildings with character and detail rarely, if never, found in this day and age, you will LOVE St Augustine, FL.

Prior to this trip, I looked at so many places to stay and hoped to stay at a charming Bed and Breakfast in the middle of the Historic Section, however, a Marriott Deal popped up and it was too good to pass up.

Staying at The Marriott Renaissance World Resort Golf Hotel and Community was a destination in itself. It was Marriott First Class all the way. Golf, Swimming, Biking, Restaurants, Spas, Exercise, Game Rooms, Playgrounds, IMAX Theater, World Golf Hall of Fame, etc. Truly something for everyone.
I highly recommend staying at this Marriott location. It a perfect destination for a Family Reunion, Weekend Getaway, Business Conference, Wedding, etc. Stay there and let me know how much fun you have.

Dont miss The Oldest City in the US...St Augustine, FL. Ride the Tour Train all over the city and learn so much about every inch of this beautiful city. Maybe, just maybe, you will benefit from The Fountain of Youth that Ponce de Leon "found". One weekend was not long enough to drink the amount of water I need for the benefit of this fountain!

I'm so glad you loved it. I was trying to think of a great place for you to eat...but I'm sure you found something. Especially at the Marriott! We also love St. Augustine. We always take family there when they're in town.

Sounds like you had a great time in St. Augustine! Come back to the Fountain of Youth any time for a refresher.

You spent the weekend in a lighthouse! Was it like a Bed & Breakfast?
