Twenty Nine

Happy Anniversary, Ron!
This morning, I had a Dr appointment and the subject of my 29th Wedding Anniversary (today) came up and the fact that, yes, I was married on my Birthday (my 20th...so I was no longer a Teenager..you can do the math as to which BD this is)
Anyhow, the nurse told me that she did not know ANYONE who had been married for THAT LONG. She told me that was some sort of record, congratulations, and that NO ONE stays married that long anymore. Well, I am not a NO ONE and I have been married that long, and it is NOT some sort of record. She would go into shock to meet my parents who are approaching #50. Marriage for many years (even eternity) is still possible and happening every day!
As our tradition...we take turns planning an Anniversary Trip/Activity. This year is my turn. I am excited about the plan. Ron only knows:
We are leaving Friday and Returning Sunday
Bring a Swimsuit and casual clothes along with one dress-up outfit.

Yes, Salt Lake City LDS Temple for our Wedding and
The Lion House for our Reception.
Marrying Ron was the best decision I have ever ever ever made!

I know...we haven't changed a bit...Not!
Actually...thankfully we HAVE changed in so many ways.
Thank you to our many friends and family who have made these
29 years a wonderful journey.
And yes, as I celebrate the last year of a certain decade...I am thankful for the life I have and the people in it. My life is full and blessed, largely because of the people surrounding me in every corner of the world.
I have set some specific goals for the coming year, more on that in future posts.

This year my parents hit their 39th anniversary. It's pretty much a Christmas miracle to hear of people staying married anymore. But there are strong people out there to be good examples for those of us who are celebrating 5 years of marriage! Can't wait to be celebrating my 29th and 39th with my sexy husband. Congratulations! And happy 39th ;) birthday! :)
