Spirit Night

Once a month, a local restaurant hosts our school for Spirit Night. It works quite well, we promote the restaurant, then the Parents, Students, and Teachers eat lunch or dinner there. At the end of the day, we receive 20% (or more, depending on the arrangements we make with the Restaurant) of the sales for that day. It is win-win for everyone involved. The Restaurants, who need more customers, are packed full and the parents are supporting the school while not having to cook.
The word has spread to most of the Restaurants in the area and they are "schmoozing" us in hopes of being a Spirit Night choice. As a courtesy (perk) many of them invite me and my family and/or Board Members to come for a complimentary lunch, dinner, etc. Of course, that gets our attention and makes us want to do business with them if at all possible. My Ways and Means VPs have done an amazing job of arranging these Spirit Nights, Negotiating with Restaurants, etc. Today was our second Spirit Day/Night...so far..all is well!
Soooo guess what we had for an early dinner tonight? Only one guess....
