June 1

June 1 may be just another day to many of you, but for me it marks the beginning of The Atlantic Hurricane Season.
Have no fear, now that we have super-duper Hurricane Shutters for our house, my area will not take a direct hit.
There is, however, one glitch...we no longer have a Generator (it was stolen, borrowed, lost etc. back in November-long story) Just a warning to my neighbors: The Hostetlers having no Generator may attract a very large storm.
For some reason, I do not fear Hurricane Season or the threat of a Hurricane. Yes it is inconvenient and unsettling, but I feel prepared for whatever may come our way. Mmmmm...could it be the "if ye are prepared, ye shall not fear" counsel at work in my life?
If you live in Hurricane Territory, are you prepared?
What is your best preparation tip?
