A Caroling We Went

If you live near us, are new to the area, teach our children, attend Church with us, work with us, etc., at some point during the Christmas Holiday Season, we may show up on your doorstep singing.  We bring treats to make up for the song.
This is a family tradition we have continued for many years. The boys complained as we spent every Sunday and Monday in December going house to house delivering large cans of popcorn with a quick rendition of "We Wish You A Merry Christmas". Of course, we have given this same opportunity to the girls. We don't deliver as many cans of popcorn (only to those who are new to the area) but we always leave some sort of goodie, ornament, card, etc. that expresses our wishes for a Merry Christmas.
This photo was taken by some of our friends as we visited their house.
