Youth Leadership Training Day

Sadie....

She should have known better than to tell me that this was not a good day to take pictures of her. That was like asking me to please get out my camera and shoot away.

During one of the breaks from Leadership Training, the Youth were treated to a fun Boat Ride. Sadie was ready to go and is as cool as a person as she looks!

When I grow up, I want to be consistently positive and cheerful like Sadie. She always has a kind word and a great attitude. A rare and beautiful quality for someone of any age, yet more so for a teen.

Sadie is fun to be around and is gifted with natural leadership abilities. I am so happy her family returned to Florida after moving away for a few years.

Amazing Teens...

Today was the Annual Youth Leadership and Planning Meeting for the Youth Leaders in The Wellington Ward...

My assignment was to head up games on the beach....

First we had a relay race with the groups learning to work together and depend on each other. Then it was an exciting game of Kickball. Right on the beach. We had the place to ourselves as we were on a Private beach. The Youth spent the day planning next year, and learning how to lead and reach out to those in need. I must say... this is a wonderful group of teens! They are a pleasure to be around.

Maverick W, it the center is wearing a shirt that says, My Bishop Rocks. Our entire Bishopric Rocks.... They love the youth and support them 100%.
