Closing Time

This is a crazy week! So much to post about, but it will have to wait until next week.
I am in the process of closing the Video Rental Departments in 3 Albertsons stores. My company, based out of Salt Lake City, has decided to pull out of the Florida Division of all Albertsons. What a huge process. It has been (and still is) very time consuming and labor intensive.
I hired my girls to help and they have worked circles around most of the teens and adults helping out. They will have great paychecks at the end of this project.
Fifteen years ago, I opened these departments, worked as the Store Rep for about 6 years, quit when I had the girls, and then last year, returned to work. This has been a perfect part-time "mom"job. Very flexible hours, not that great of pay, but the flexibility has been worth it. At a time in my life, when I am ready to move on and start a business, figure out what I want to do when I grow up (as far as a business) or work, the store closings are very well timed.

Yay for you! So exciting. I didn't even know that you did non-mom work. It's so hard since mom work, is pretty all consuming. Thanks for reminding me that I will be able to do go back to work someday. I like working part time from home, but I mainly do it to prevent a 20 year hole in my resume.

Good luck with all of that. I'm still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. College didn't help at all. Got lots of ideas running around, now I need to make a go of them. That seems to be the hard part.
