Ready, Get Packed, Go....

Megan is counting the minutes until she boards a plane headed for Utah. In less than 24 hours, her 8th Birthday trip to stay with Curt and Carmen will become a reality.

I have so many tips for traveling with children, yet sending them solo is a new frontier, mostly requiring me to not break down and cry as I watch them board the plane and head off in to the wild blue yonder.

I have to focus on how excited my child is for this adventure and be happy for the experiences awaiting them. Pondering the fact that my young child is up in the sky flying around without me or Ron is something I have to choose not to concentrate on.

Once the laundry is done, the packing is easy. We have an aresenal of luggage, yet nothing quite as cute as this suitcase from Cupcake Boutique. Makes me want to plan a trip just so I can pack it.

I never mind packing for a trip, it is the un-packing I dread.
