Key West Sunset

This is where we were one year ago. We celebrated our Anniversary in Key West. A unique aspect (of which there are many) of Key West is watching the Sunrise and Sunset all in one place.
We attended the Sunset Celebration on The Boardwalk each evening. Each time the sun finally dipped in to the ocean was a breath taking sight.
For all the beauty of Key West, I must say... it is not a place I would visit often, nor would I bring children. If drinking and derelict life styles is where you find excitement, then perhaps Key West will hold more of a draw. We visited the Hemmingway house and I must say, this was one of the first historical sights I left without a greater appreciation for the person who lived there. I gained an understanding of Hemmingway, yet not a respect.
Each sunset, I would say, this is my favorite, and then the next would come and be just as spectacular. There was something magical about each one.
Ron did his homework and we stayed in a nice Bed and Breakfast. We did not drive our car the entire time we were there. We rode our bikes all over. From coast to coast in 10 minutes. The bikes and scooters all over the island outnumber the cars. It is the best way to travel.
PS- I was on vacation.... Not being a morning person by nature.... I cannot report on the sunrises. Ron would sneak out each morning to enjoy the sunrise and return before I even knew he had left.
