New OrlandoTemple President and Matron
My dad and mom have been called to serve as the Orlando Temple President and Matron.
Their service begins the first part of November. This is a photo of them in front of the Orlando Temple yesterday. I am so proud of both of them and their desire to serve. At a season in life when many people slow down and feel that they have "done enough" serving others and want to "get on with living the good life", my parents pick up the pace and forge ahead with amazing dedication and focus. In reality, my parents are living the good life, one of service with an eye single to the Glory of God. Another exciting aspect of this calling is, unlike when they served in Montana as Mission President, because I live in their Temple District, I will actually get to see them when I attend the temple and when they visit my Stake for Stake Conference. They will serve for 3 years as the Temple President and Matron. This is a blessing for our entire family.

Alison also beat the new Temple President in Phase 10 last night! good thing he didnt need the spirit anymore cause it was gone after that game!
