The midnight call from Andrew last night was a welcome wake up! His Mission President had each missionary call home to assure family and friends that they were fine after the Earthquake. As we felt all along, Andrew did not feel any tremors or the any of the effects of this past week's Earthquake. He is in the North West part of Peru far from any of the devastation.It was so good to talk with Andrew. He sounds happy and focused on service to others.
His health continues to be a challenge, which is frustrating to him. Being held back physically is difficult when he wants to work full speed ahead. His Mission President has been very proactive in getting medical attention for him, yet each area he serves in seems to in bring a new medical issue. Thank you for your concern and prayers for him.

We are sooo happy to read you were able to speak with Andrew. I know you've told me but what are his health issues again?
Thank you for updating and letting us know that everything is alright. I really want to see Andrew after his mission. Sounds like he has grown up and changed- it is really neat how a mission can do that!
