Mr Clean Srubbing Bubbles
Automatic Shower Cleaner
On a scale of 1-10 (10 being the highest) I give this product a 5. Here is why:
In May, I posted my latest experiment. The Commercials with the maids lurking in the shower ready to clean got my attention. I was not expecting a miracle, yet I was hoping for some help.
- The Range of Spray needs to be larger. I found that I had to place the cleaner in 2 different spots for it to reach my entire shower.
- A big beef--the batteries (4AA) ran out before both bottles of cleaner were used up. The cleaner has to be dry before changing the batteries, yet every time I thought of changing, I had just showered--therefore it was wet.
- I don't think it really kept my shower any cleaner than the regular cleaning. I was not expecting to never scrub the shower again, but this did not seem to keep the soap and scum build up at bay.
- It actually seemed to leave a film of it's own on the glass doors
Sad, but true, there is not substitute for human elbow grease to scrub something squeaky clean. I would prefer the maids in the commercial to come clean my shower over this little machine that needs some fine tuning. Great concept...I hope someone improves on the effectiveness.

NY says we are two peas in a pod! For several days I've been telling him, "I need to ask Shauna how the Scrubbing Bubbles Auto Cleaner worked", Thank You for your intuiton!!
Here's my tip. Have you thought of changing soap? I like Method Cassis Flower body wash at Target. It feels so nice because it smells great and rinses really clean. I don't think it leaves any soap scum in the shower. My sister prefers bar soap and wash rags to gel soap and scrubbies (is that the official name?) however, so she has to deal with soap scum.
