My Early Christmas Gift

Exciting Beyond Words....
My Christmas Surprise From Ron.....
Yesterday, I went to The Orlando LDS Temple with the Youth in my Ward. Ron stayed home with the girls. I knew he would hang the Christmas lights outside and get a few household projects done, yet he had a huge surprise brewing for me.
As I rounded the curve toward our house late last night... I was greeted by this beautiful Nativity Display. For a split second, I thought it was my neighbor's. Quickly, the realization hit me.... this was in MY yard...this is MY Nativity Set and it was gorgeous.
For at least 15 years, I have wanted an all white Outdoor Nativity Set for my front yard. Nothing painted, simply white and peaceful. Every Christmas Season, I search with no luck. Years ago, Ron even knocked on the door of a complete stranger to ask where they got their white Nativity Set. They won it and did not know where it came from...
I collect Nativity Sets from all over the world. I have always wanted my outside decorations to reflect my inside decorations, not to mention that a Nativity Set is focused on The most important aspect of the Christmas Season, the Birth of Jesus Christ.
This year, I finally decided that I would give up the search and not obsess about finding the perfect simple white Nativity Set. I even told Ron on Friday that I had seen an outdoor white Nativity Set that was "OK" (like the yard reindeer) but I did not like it well enough to want to figure out how to store it. Little did I know that the very next day, he would be setting up my dream Outdoor Nativity Set.
The years of searching and effort mean so much to me. Very rarely has Ron been able to surprise me without my guessing. This was a true "out of the blue" surprise!!!!!
I love it!
Thank You, Ron. You are incredible. My Nativity Set is almost as wonderful as you are! I love you!
