Science Fair Time....
HELP!
This is one of those dreaded time of the academic year for me. Science Fair Projects!
Any suggestions for a 5th grader and a 2nd grader? Both of my girls are in need of ideas.
Leave comments here or at Katherine's blog or Megan's blog.
We attend a school where the projects are over the top "Parent" Science Projects.
The funny thing is that Katherine won 1st place for 4th grade last year and she actually thought of and executed the experiment on her own. She experimented with Magnets and the way temperature affects them. It was an easy experiment and project board for her to put together. I am just not one of those parents who hopes "my project" wins, but I dont even have any fresh suggestions for my girls to start with.
Suggestions welcome, please!!!!!

You probably don't want Daniel's suggestions, because he's crazy. But...he suggested something about chaos theory and comparing it to phenomena in the natural environment (for 5th grade). He also suggested something with statistics and a survey for 2nd grade. Like surveying people on their blood types and finding out if your survey results reflect the published statistics for percentages of people with each blood type.
I would expect nothing less from Daniel! Ha! Thanks!
Now the blood type survey... that is completely in the ballpark!
