Young Women Love Bucket Delivery Night

Love Bucket Deliveries Begin Tonight!
Rain or Shine...right now we are having more rain than shine.
Click here for details! It is not too late to add this to your Valentine celebration!
If you missed these buckets at the Target Dollar Spot.... now the Easter buckets are in.
So cute in pastel pink, blue, and yellow......really, I mean soooo cute! I am feeling an Easter Surprise Bucket in the works! (Bunny Buckets)
My friend Dawn, who introduced the Love Bucket idea to me, is using Green Buckets on St Patricks Day as Luck Buckets! So clever, that Dawn!
(See the Young Women delivery report below!)

PS-Delivery Report..... We had sooooo much fun knocking on doors, running, and figuring out how to not get caught. We delivered Love Buckets to 11 people. It was so cute, with 8 girls, at a few houses, they all wanted to go at one time to knock and run. Each time, they managed to get away without being found out, even when all of them converged upon the doorstep at one time. This was a great way to "Spread The Love" and welcome Valentines Day!

I feel strongly that the Youth Activities need to be more service centered, hence teaching the Youth to always be thinking of others and forgetting about themselves. This definitely was accomplished tonight.

Our last stop was the Mc Donalds Drive Thru for a quick snack. The Mc Donalds' employee who gave us our food was so helpful and pleasant that as we drove a few feet away, I felt that we should give her one of our last Love Buckets. I proposed this to the girls and they were all for it. We handed one of the girls a Love Bucket and she returned to the Drive Thru pick up window to make the delivery. Watching her reaction was priceless. I am sure no one has done anything like that for her before. Each of the Young Women looked back and watched her read the card and smile with delight. Mission Accomplished! That was the perfect way to end our night of "Spreading The Love" deliveries!

I live in Minnesota. What you describe about leaving treats, then hiding and avoid being caught and kissed, is what we do on May Day -the first of May. Not everyone around here does it either. It is one of those neat things that has gone by the wayside with the business of working families and other activities like sports and dance, etc.
