The Washing Machine Blessing

This Arrived Today And Will Always
Be A Reminder Of The Blessing Of Tithing....

For the past 6-9 months, my Washing Machine has been dying a slow death. We decided to not have it repaired and to let it go and go and go until in would not wash one more load.
With many extra expenses this year, and in an economy we are just thankful that Ron has a job in (Construction is not the place to be right now-thankfully, he is in Commercial Construction) we have put off many expenditures just holding our breath and hoping Ron still has a job and continues to receive bonus checks, also. So far, so good.
So.....in the middle of Andrew's arrival preparations, the Washer broke completely....would not spin, refused to wash one more load. The eleven year old washer had given up the ghost.
I spent the day before Andrew arrived shuttling laundry back and forth across the street as I used my neighbor's washing machine (The Lord gave me an incredible neighbor and friend, Michelle)
Now, here is where the Tithing Blessing comes in....
Five minute prior to the washer breaking...this miracle happened...I know it was not a coincidence........I received a phone call from an attorney who I had done some work for last year. The case was finally closed and my payment was in the mail.. right then and there.
Last year, I told Ron that the check would arrive when we need it the most. I had almost forgotten it was still owed to me. I had five minutes to think about all the exciting things I would do with this check and the washer let me know exactly what I would do. The check was enough to purchase a Washing Machine, Dryer, and Dishwasher (it is dying a slow death, also) with some money left over. When I called Ron to tell him about the death of the Washing Machine, I was so excited to tell him in the same breath that the money to pay for it was on the way. No having to dip into any other money.
All three appliances were delivered today and I will be a Happy Homemaker washing clothes for the next few days.
This may be a scary time to be in Construction, however, being in the Construction Industry proved to be yet another blessing when Ron was able to get an incredible price for all three appliances.

That is awesome Shauna. I love it when we can see the Lord's hand in our lives.

Oh by the way...did you get the drawer pedestals? They are great and for anyone taller than me a must because you don't have to bend over to get in and out of the machines. I store all my cleaners and "stuff" in them.

Yes, we got the pedestals! I was not in to creating back problems as a side effect of laundry!!!!
