It Is Officially Summer....
Yes, I fully realize that on the calendar and by the moon, sun, and stars
this Saturday, June 21 is the official start of summer.
However...our summer started today..

Lake Worth Beach!Time to work on tanning my legs! Yikes!
Note the Pier in the Background behind Katherine. Since the Pier was damaged
extensively during the Hurricanes of 2004, it has been closed. I am happy to
report that it is finally being re-built! Hooray!!!!
Megan and her friends, Taylor, Alison, Lyndsey, Shayna, and Skylee worked hard at digging an enormous hole. I LOVE these shovels available at Target
and Wal Mart in The Garden Department. They are the best for digging!
The hole became so large that Megan was buried...a little too well.The sand was so packed that it was difficult for her to emerge
from the pile. Note to self and all...do not pack the sand when
burying anyone!

So, I miss the beach a bit too much! I'm sitting here thinking about how great you mothers look, and trying to figure out how many children you all have combined?!
