Happy Birthday To My Brother,
Brent
Most of the places our family has lived are covered in these photos..
American Fork, Utah; Pocatello, Idaho; Midvale, Utah;
Independence, Missouri; Berkeley Heights, New Jersey; and
Atlanta, Georgia
This is the haircut Brent sported for the first 8-9 years
of his life. When it started to grow out, I took it upon
myself to shave Brent's as well as our brother, Mark's
hair, shorter than short. Yes, I was in trouble when my
parents came home to the new hair cuts. My dad was
so embarrassed at how the boys looked, he did not even
want us to come into his store (JCPenney at the Blue Ridge
Mall in Kansas City, MO) until the hair grew out a little.
I think this photo was taken when we lived in Pocatello, Idaho.
I am positive it was taken at JCPenney Pixie Studios.
ward in Independence, Missouri.
This was in April 1977 right before we moved to
Berkeley Heights, New Jersey.
Our costumes were old-fashioned swimsuits. This was
such a fun time.

I think this was right before our sister, Jenni, left to serve
a mission in Poland. I am the oldest, Brent is second, Mark
is third, and Jenni came at the caboose when I was 11 years old.

Brent was, no doubt, demonstrating some sort of wrestling
technique for the camera. Note our little sister, Jenni, in
the background......Mmmm

to have it scanned and preserved on my computer. It is falling
apart. I will do a little before and after photo shop demo on it
when I have time to play. I am thinking he was around 2 years
old here.
We lived in American Fork, Utah at this time. Our house was
on State Street where the KFC is now located. I tell my kids
that every time we visit Parker's Drive Inn in American Fork.

Utah. Once again.....JCPenney Pixie Photo Studio. With
Brent's Birthday and My Birthday in the summer, several
years we got our photos taken in the summer at Back
To School time.

I love you!
You are a blessing to our family!
