The DAY...Not The Movie!There is really a Groundhog Day? Really?
This was the conversation with the children in my carpool this morning on the way to school. Yes, the holiday came first....then The Movie! I think I convinced them that Groundhog Day is real and I did not make it up. Trust me...if I was inventing a holiday...I am not sure what it WOULD be, however, I am certain, it would NOT be Groundhog Day.
Do you watch the movie, Groundhog Day ON Groundhog Day? I have a friend who makes this a ritual. Movie, Dinner with friends over, etc.
I am hit and miss on this one...some years, yes and some years, no. Tonight, I feel a YES year coming on. Popcorn and All.
Meanwhile, my pool is filled and the next post I will reveal the number of hours it took to fill (mainly because I have to take a photo and upload it, which I dont have time to do until later in the day!)

Celebrating Groundhog Day is a distraction from it being a Monday, and in some places, a very cold, rainy, snowy, icy Monday!
