The Pool Is Full

And it is WAY TOO COLD to Even THINK about Swimming!
How long did it take to fill? Did you guess? This photo is at 24 hours, BEFORE we called in the BIG GUNS and added TWO more hoses (one from each side of the house) to make THREE hoses filling the pool. This sped things up noticeably!
The children could not WAIT to swim in the half-way filled pool. I was cold just watching them This was at 26 hours. Still with one whimpy hose doing the job.
Still at 26 hours and one whimpy hose....
Alas...at 37 Hours... We have a FULL POOL! And Patty guessed 36 hours. Patty...you win! I know exactly what your prize will be! The Pool Company estimated 48 hours to fill the pool, which would have easily been the case without the additional hoses!
Voila...Ready for a Pool Party, Spring Break, and a Summer of Fun. Right now, I am happy to LOOK at it and NOT jump in. Cold water is NEVER my idea of fun.
The First major household project of 2009 is crossed off the list! CHECK!
Congratulations to Patty for guessing the closest number of hours it took to fill this gigantic hole in our backyard!
PS-Where are my FONT choices, blogger? They disappeared with this post!
