Sooner Or Later....

This Was Bound To Happen At Our House on Orchid Court...
Across The Street From The Church Building.
What you are looking at is where a car plowed through our next door neighbor's fence. The car plowed over The Sugar Pond Manor sign, Through the THICK Ficus Hedge, Through the Wood Fence, and into a THICK Palm Tree Trunk. You may note the remnants of the sign and the fence as you peer straight into Vivian's backyard. It was quite a narrow path for the car to follow. Thankfully, the electrical wires on the right and the Walk/Do Not Walk Sign on the left were avoided.

We lived at this major intersection long enough to see many accidents in our backyard. Each time we would say...someday, someone is going to drive right into our fence and land in our backyard. Well, Vivian's fence and yard had the first honors.

Several Blog Posts could be dedicated to the accidents and excitement seen just over our fence.

I LOVED living in that house ACROSS from the Church. For those of you in Utah, that does not seem like a big deal, living across the street from the Church Building, well in Florida, and most every other place, it is a Big Deal. In fact, when my children had to be at Seminary every school morning at 6am, it was a BIG DEAL!!! They walked out the back gate and headed to their seat in Seminary Class.

For the record, I miss that house. It would be perfect with just the four of us. When the girls start Seminary, I am going to really MISS that house!!!!

For now...the most action I ever hear or see in my backyard are golf related noises, like the ping of a club hitting a ball..it is just that quiet. What a contrast!

I am grateful that we lived in that house for 8 years without anyone or anything plowing into our fence, hedge, trees, or family members!!!
