Michelle, Kristi, Me, and Jill (It is so much fun to meet fellow bloggers in real-life-person!)
All the fun, shopping, food, people, places, scenery, flowers, mountains, etc. in Utah and not one photo. OK..maybe one or two..but not my usual snap every inch of the way. You will just have to trust me when I say...the week was one of the best weeks for my spirit and body. My calendar is already marked for next year.
And here it is, Monday after a wonderful Mothers Day and NO PHOTOS with my mom, who came to visit from Orlando. This was one of the best Mother's Day weekend ever. Maybe I was just too busy soaking it all in to document it on film You will just have to trust me when I say..my mom is and amazing person and mother. Picture this...we wore the same color...bright turquoise blue and we both received a semi-wilting potted flower at Church (I am not ungrateful as this may sound...just giving a description I did not capture on my camera!)
On a completely different subject....my Monday morning started with a visit to my friendly neighborhood Podiatrist..should I have laughed when he told me to stay off my foot for at least 8 hours (not including sleeping) per day for the next 3 WEEKS? A cortisone shot, some strong meds, stretching, a foot brace, and STAYING DOWN for 3 weeks should do the trick. My heel has been hurting for 6-8 weeks now. There are a few things going on and the Doctor wants to try a "Conservative" approach first. OK...here's to being Conservative.
Happy Monday!
Does it surprise you that I have not been photo crazy lately? What did the Women receive for Mothers Day at your Church? My son's congregation in Michigan made Chocolate Covered Strawberries for all the women (makes me want to move there...oh that is right...SNOW is part of the deal...LOTS of it) Remind me to stay off this foot...what would you do if you had to lie around for 8 extra hours per day??????

I wish you were coming to BYU Ed Week! Jeanna and I will be there this year! We went in '07, when we dropped Jacob off to the Y. We are hoping that perhaps, by some miracle, we will get to drop Jacob off at the MTC this time!!!
I wonder if they have chocolate covered strawberries here in Florida? Do they grow here or does the high temperatures (especially in the farming areas) cause the chocolate to melt off before they are ripe enough to pick!
