While Ron and Andrew are on their Road Trip west (tonight makes 4 nights in a row being in Major League Baseball Stadiums-St Louis, Kansas City, and now Denver) the girls and I are having our own mini-vacation. Tonight, we went downtown.
The festive atmosphere at City Place more than made up for the disappointing Movie we saw while there (see previous post). I LOVE City Place. We ate dinner, saw a movie, and topped off the night with Ice Cream from Sloans Ice Cream Parlor. A visit to Sloans always puts a smile on my face. Sloans is a one-of-a-kind place, featured on the Travel Channel for it's "see-through" glass on the Restroom Doors (dont worry, the glass become opaque when you lock a lever in place) Whimsical decor creates a magical feeling like no other the moment you enter the doors of Sloans.
We had our friend, Taylor along for the fun!

Just look at these adorable chandeliers inside Sloans.Always, Always...The order ends up being a
scoop of Circus Ice Cream..Blue Lips included.
This Ice Cream tastes like Cotton Candy and
has Gummy Bears mixed in.

Have you ever visited City Place?
Did you know there is a Sloans there now?
The original Sloans is on Clematis Street.
Did you see Night at The Museum 2?
What did you think about it?

I LOVE Sloans. Bryan and I used to go there (Clematis) when we were dating. Have not been to the one at City Place, but we have been to the one in the Gardens. Looks like ya'll had fun!
My husband and I are looking for at least one last weekend getaway before the baby comes. Maybe Sloans is the ticket! I love traveling for tasty treats! Looks great! Never been there. I want to dance in the bathroom stalls!
