Barometer....

One sure way to tell I am flying high....for THREE DAYS....I have not completed the Crossword Puzzle in The Palm Beach Post. That, and the blogging has been sparse compared to the daily activity and photo-taking level. To quote myself...when life is most bloggable, that is when blogging happens the least. (in my life, anyhow)

Then.....Prepare for Lauren's Bridal Shower (tonight is the gala event-yes, I know what was I thinking for the first week of school)I CANT WAIT to post photos of the decorations for tonight. Last night, my house was transformed into a Rock Star Party (I know it's a Bridal Shower). When Lauren walks in, I cant wait to see her face. I have FIFTY FIVE RSVPs for tonight, which means I am going to have about SIXTY FIVE chicas at the party (You know...those NON-RSVPers...Dont tell me you are one of them!) I just hope my neighbors don't get too crabby about the parking situation. When the Hostetlers party...the neighborhood gets taken over by cars.

Preparing for the shower was a nice diversion from preparing to speak at this event and that event along with preparing agendas, following up on assignments, and just keeping the PTA ship headed in the right direction.

Tomorrow, is The "Boo Hoo" Breakfast for all the Kindergarten Parents (more nice words and a fun game to lead-no boring meetings with yours truly at the helm) Tomorrow afternoon is a Golf Tournament Meeting, and Tomorrow night, we are invited to The Breakers with one of my "clients". Saturday will find me STAYING CLOSE TO HOME!!!!!
