Her colors were so much fun to work with. The night before this gala event, my house was transformed into a Rock Star Party with over 80 Balloons hanging from the ceiling (Thank You, David Mc Dougal for your Balloon Hanging Service)
Just a splash of color on the H2O Bottles in the Red Tub I use for Valentines Day Parties (that was my "go to" holiday box for decorating this event.
My Stand By decoration. The Jelly Beans change with each occasion or holiday. Recently, I discovered that adding Cinnamon Red Hots to the Candy creates a great scent without overpowering the room. And to answer your question...NO THE CANDY DOES NOT MELT while the candles are burning. I have never had that issue....promise.
Here is the little trio of Hurricane Lamps just waiting to brighten this party. I LOVE decorations I can use everyday and for every occasion. Just makes my life so much easier.
Now...I know you are wondering WHERE ARE THE SHOWER PHOTOS????? Well....Note to self...DON'T LOSE YOUR CAMERA THE DAY OF THE GALA EVENT only to find it the next morning after all the photos ops are over and gone.Aghhhhhhhhh! I took a few photos with Megan's camera, however, not nearly what I would have with my own "gear".Trust me...it was a GREAT TIME in honor of a GREAT PERSON. We showered her with lots and lots of love!
