Noodles and Mt Rushmore

What Do They Have In Common?
As far as I know, not much, unless you have been listening to Megan (who is turning 10 tomorrow) recently. She has caused me laugh, while engaged in totally serious conversation.
On Mt Rushmore....
There was discussion about where we would travel for our NEXT road trip (even though we are not totally settled from this recent adventure). I mentioned Yellowstone and visiting Mt Rushmore on the way there. Megan said, "Do you think Mt Rushmore is one of those places that you drive and drive and drive to get there and once you see it, you say, 'Oh, It Looks Just Like The Pictures', so you get in the car and drive to the next place."
On Noodles...
While Katherine was making a Spaghetti Dinner for us, Megan kept telling her to
"Add Butter" "Add Butter" as she was cooking the noodles.
Finally, Katherine explained that butter is not added to the water while cooking pasta.
Here was the conversation that revealed Megan's concern:
Megan: Without Butter, How will you ever SLURPIFY the noodles?
Katherine: I will Butter the noodles after I drain and rinse them
Megan: Will that SLURPIFY them?
Katherine: What is SLURPIFY?
Megan: You know....Making The Noodles Easy to SLURP....S-L-U-R-P-I-F-Y.
It isn't in Webster's Dictionary yet (and spellcheck will rebel) but it totally makes sense....Butter the noodles and they are easier to SLURP. Maybe it will be a new term on The Food Network.
Do you ever make up words that actually make sense?
