Orange

Good Thing I made friends with the color Orange.
It has become the key color of support for the Teachers of Palm Beach County as we, the parents, fight to reverse some major changes introduced by our new Chief Academic Officer, Jeffrey Hernandez.
It is a battle that must be fought for the better of every Teacher and Student in Palm Beach County.
Click HERE and HERE for details. PTA President or not, I am a parent first and will make my voice heard. The changes are a huge step backwards for the Academics, Teachers, and Students in Palm Beach County.
I have encouraged parents to use their passion and frustration to represent Teachers, Students, and their Schools in a positive manner. Letters, phone calls, and wearing Orange unites us as we insist on the elimination of Embedded Testing and several other changes.
Yep....here I go...it is a deja vu from many years ago. I voiced my concerns when the boys were little and it made a difference then...it will make a difference today.
Ironically, our current School Superintendent, Art Johnson, was one of my allies years ago as a High School Principal. I still have the letter he wrote to me and the newspaper article I wrote.
